A. MouthWatch produces 640 x 480 vibrant color jpg photos and full color mpeg videos.

A. MouthWatch images can be printed and included with claim submissions to support certain types of insurance claims.

A. MouthWatch stores a small amount of information, including images that have not yet been uploaded, in the local computer. Images and text are encrypted before being uploaded, and are then stored on our HIPAA-compliant secure cloud servers.

Security

A. For our teledentistry and remote monitoring systems, we use Industry standard AES 256-bit encryption at all points where patient information is transmitted between a patient or professional and our servers. This includes full encryption for information shared by providers and patients, as well as encrypted transmission of uploaded/downloaded documents and images. All patient data, images and videos are stored in encrypted database tables using standard AES 256-bit. Full drive encryption is in place for all hard drives storing patient information as well.

A. For our teledentistry and remote monitoring solutions, both patient and practice access to MouthWatch is password protected. You can choose and reset passwords as with many other software services.

DURABILITY

A. MouthWatch is water resistant, but not waterproof. We do not recommend doing anything to clean it other than wiping with a damp cloth. Do not run it under water or submerge the camera. For cleaning, you can use germicidal wipes, but repeated wiping with wet cloths, directly on the lens may cause some fogging.
