A. MouthWatch intraoral cameras work on Windows XP -> Windows 10 computers. They also work with the Mac OS. Our new Android app for ExamTab allows for our cameras to integrate with most Android 4.4 or newer tablets and smartphones.

A. The MouthWatch intraoral camera has a fixed focal distance of 4mm – 50mm, which is optimal for detailed imagery of one or several teeth, Because of its small head size and close focusing range, the MouthWatch camera can easily capture images of rear molars.

A. MouthWatch produces 640 x 480 vibrant color jpg photos and full color videos.

A. MouthWatch images can be printed and included with claim submissions to reduce denials and support certain types of insurance claims.

A. MouthWatch securely stores a small amount of information, including images that have not yet been uploaded, in the local computer. Images and text are encrypted before being uploaded, and are then stored on our HIPAA-compliant secure cloud servers.


A. For our teledentistry and remote monitoring systems, we use Industry standard AES 256-bit encryption at all points where patient information is transmitted between a patient or professional and our servers. This includes full encryption for information shared by providers and patients, as well as encrypted transmission of uploaded/downloaded documents and images. All patient data, images and videos are stored in encrypted database tables using standard AES 256-bit. Full drive encryption is in place for all hard drives storing patient information as well.

A. For our teledentistry and remote monitoring solutions, both patient and practice access to MouthWatch is password protected. You can choose and reset passwords as with many other software services.


A. Your MouthWatch Intraoral Camera will last a long time with proper care. Please follow the below instructions to ensure the highest quality image and cleanliness of your camera.


- Use our protective barriers with EVERY PATIENT for the best image quality highest level of infection control.
- For disinfecting the camera, squeeze excess moisture from an alcohol wipe and wipe the entire handpiece and cable, avoiding direct contact with the lens/light assembly. Excess direct lens wiping may result in fogging.
- Do not spray air or water directly on the lens/light assembly.
- Do not autoclave or submerge the camera.
- Do not clean it with products that include trichloroethylene, dichloroethylene, aromatic and chloride hydrocarbons, methylene chloride, cetones, which can damage the plastic parts.

We'll issue a return shipping label and refund. There is no restocking fee on intraoral camera orders. Any ExamTab orders will be subject to a 15% restocking fee if returned within 30 days from the date of receipt.

A. Most orders are shipped within 24 hours of receipt. The cost of shipping is displayed during checkout, and is usually $12 for FedEx Ground to most US locations.

A. Our limited warranty covers defects in materials and workmanship in the MouthWatch Intraoral Camera for 1 year from date of purchase.


This limited warranty does not cover any damage, deterioration or malfunction resulting from any alteration, modification, improper or unreasonable use or maintenance, misuse, abuse, accident, neglect, exposure to excess moisture, fire, lightning, power surges, or other acts of nature. This limited warranty does not cover any damage, deterioration or malfunction resulting from any unauthorized tampering with this product, any repairs attempted by anyone unauthorized by MouthWatch, LLC to make such repairs, or any other cause which does not relate directly to a defect in materials and/or workmanship of this product. Without limiting any other exclusion herein, MouthWatch, LLC does not warrant that the product covered hereby, including, without limitation, the technology included in the product, will not become obsolete or that such items are or will remain compatible with any other product or technology with which the product may be used.
